Our Top 10 Pooch Friendly Spots

Does the CRIPPLING guilt of leaving your furry best mate home alone stop you from enjoying your weekends out and about? We hear you! As massive pup lovers here at Liverpool Noise, we’ve been scouring the city for the top dog friendly spots that will welcome both you and your pooch with open arms. Our findings are re-pawted below. (Sorry, we had to).

1.  Brewdog (Manolis Yard, 8 Colquitt St)

The clue’s in the name. BrewDog has long been a firm favourite when it comes to dog owners, and a huge part of the company’s culture centers around pooch appreciation. You can even host your very own BrewDog Dog Pawtie here (can. you. cope?). To be clear – this is an ACTUAL party for your dog and their four legged friends. They even provide party hats!

2. Salt Dog Slim’s (79 Seel St)

Another dog related namesake – can you see the pattern here? Although of a night this place is one of the busiest bars in town, Salt Dog’s is actually a perfect pooch heaven to visit of a day. We like to sit and people/pooch watch in one of the window booths.

3. The Lodge (33 Lark Lane)

The perfect place to refuel after a big ol’ dog walk around Sefton Park. The guys at The Lodge love their dogs. Serving up brilliant gastro dishes and craft ales for owners – your pup can chill out inside by the fire, or lounge about outside next to their own little ‘dog bar’ water barrel.

4.  Santa Maluco (2 Castle Street)

Pizza and puppies. A place we can eat our favourite meal, with our favourite furry mate. Need we say any more? Oh, you can also grab killer brunches and coffee from here now too, as the venue also doubles up as Castle Street Coffee!

5. Baltic Market (107 Stanhope St)

The guys at Independant Liverpool, who head up this amazing street food market, have always been fond of their dogs. The ratio of fluffy pups to humans here is staggeringly brilliant. The perfect place for your dog to make new pals as you sip on a cocktail. The Baltic Market even had their very own ‘Dog Grotto’ last Christmas, with a chance for visiting pups to meet Santa Paws (!!!!!).

6. Bunch Wine Bar (50 Berry St)

Bunch is a wonderfully cosy little bar, with a super chilled atmosphere. Offering the biggest selection of natural wines in the city, they also allow you to kick back and share a glass (or bottle) in the company of your pup.

7. Dead Crafty (92 Dale St)

A craft beer bar with 20 drafts on offer and a huge variety of bottles from around the world. Dead Crafty welcome pooches of all shapes and sizes, and have even been known to give out dog treats! (To hounds, not to humans).

8. Bold Street Coffee (89 Bold Street)

Just when we thought this place couldn’t get any better… We’ve been thrilled to see BSC open their doors once again, after a hiatus from their usual Bold Street venue. Now that they’re back in 89, you and your dog can once again sit in the window and watch the world go by on one of our most iconic Liverpool streets.

9.  Filter + Fox (27 Duke Street)

We love love love it in here. Food, coffee, cocktails and canines. Perfection.

10. The Pickled Olive (12 Woolton St)

We may have saved the best until last here. Not only does The Pickled Olive allow dogs to drink and dine inside – you’ll also be greeted by their very own bartending pooch. Whilst Pickles the Daschund may not be able bring your drinks to the table, you can find him extremely busy elsewhere, being extremely cute.

Are you a dog friendly spot in Liverpool that we’ve missed? Give us a shout/bark/whatever and we’ll pay you a visit!
