THE MUSIC MANUAL PRESENTS…SUMMER SHINDIG FULL LINE UP REVEALED

To celebrate five years of the award shortlisted music blog, The Music Manual will host a Summer Shindig, which will bring together all that is good about Liverpool’s ever growing music industry over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.

The Music Manual Presents series over the last few years have featured artists such as Blossoms, Purple Heart Parade and Kashmere.

The full line up for the event will feature; Nick Ellis, Edgar Jones, Mike Murphy (The Wicked Whispers) Dawn and The Embers, Jo Mary, Mary Miller, Tori Cross, Pale Rider, DUSST, Eleanor Nelly, Astles, Bird & Family Bryan, Dawn & The Embers, Oh Well Goodbye and The Sailmakers.

Founder and editor of The Music Manual, Lauren Jones said: “I can’t believe the blog is now five years old. I remember wishing I had the balls to launch a blog, but after taking the plunge; The Music Manual is growing stronger than ever.

“It’s time The Music Manual put a stamp back on Merseyside and the wider area, it is crucial for the music scene – now more than ever.”

Spread across two stages, the all-day event at the Buyers Club on Hardman Street, Liverpool; will welcome bands from outside the area to welcome in the Bank Holiday Weekend in style.

The acoustic stage will take shape in the sun kissed outdoor courtyard from 12pm, entertaining afternoon drinkers and diners in a cool, laid back space.

Upstairs will see a more livelier set up with full bands kicking off the party from 6pm.

Talking about the event Lauren added: “With new artists and favourite faces, there’s something for everyone at the Summer Shindig with Buyers Club.”
