New stylish cinema to open in the Metquater next year.
Liverpool’s exclusive shopping area The Metquarter is set to welcome the Everyman Cinema with four screens, sofa seating, at-seat food and drink, a wine bar and a private screening lounge which will be available for private hire and corporate events.
Everyman Cinema’s are know for showing a host of screenings including the latest big releases, independent cinema or live broadcast arts eventr such as the National Theatre and Met Opera productions.
The plan to open the cinema comes as part of a wider plan to revitalise the centre after it has struggled to fill all its units successfully since opening in 2008.
Crispin Lilly CEO of Everyman Cinemas said: “We’re extremely excited to be launching in Liverpool. It’s such a vibrant city with an incredible cultural legacy, and we’re proud to become a part of that.”
The Everyman Cinema should open in Autumn 2018.
