MCM Comic Con Liverpool Announces Flash Gordon, Starsky & Hutch and Huggy Bear To Appear

MCM Comic Con has announced some very special guests for the Liverpool event taking place on 11th & 12th March at the Exhibition Centre.

Sam J. Jones, best known for playing the iconic hero of 1980 sci-fi classic Flash Gordon, is among the special guests for the event as well as former Doctor Who Peter Davison.

Former Starsky and Hutch stars David Soul, Paul Michael Glaser and Antonio Fargas have also been confirmed on the bill at Liverpool.

After the success of the MCM Comic Con 2016, the event returns to Liverpool with fancy dress cult movie characters and superheros set to take over the city once more.

The event which pays homage to movies, video games, comics, anime, online video and cosplay attracts thousands of visitors to unleash their inner geek and is ever growing in popularity.

There will be the chance to buy the very best from the worlds of Movies, Anime, Manga, TV, Comics, Trading Cards, Actions Figures with the event bringing together the UK’s top dealers offering merchandise from both the UK and abroad.

The Comic Village will bring together comic creators of all styles, mediums and levels to join together in one equal space and promote the good word of sequential art so there will be plenty on offer for comic fans to sink their teeth into.

Game of Thrones fans can also look forward to the ‘Fancosmic Iron Throne Experience’ – a stunning recreation of Aegon the Conqueror’s spectacular throne. Dispense justice to friends and foes from atop the Iron Throne replica, and even have your photograph taken to prove your royal status.
