Liverpool Food, Drink & Lifestyle Spring Festival; Saturday 15th – Sunday 16th April

Back for its third year is the sunnier sister of The Liverpool Food & Drink Festival, held on Easter Weekend in Sefton Park. Foodies will be impressed by the wide variety of sweet & sour stalls, displaying their best creations, whilst there will also be numerous opportunities to grab a drink, hopefully in the sunshine!

Food stalls at the festival will include Neon Jamon, Mela Street Food, Little Furnace, Reds True BBQ, The Interesting Eating Company, I Knead Pizza, Piggie Smalls, Street Dawg Co, Let’s Go Mexicana and more.

It will be another big year for gin lovers with the likes of McQueen Gin, Riverside’s Gin, Juniper 1933, Slingsby, Elephant Gin and Bar 1977 all serving up the UK’s most trendy spirit right now.

Liverpool Gin

And of course there will also be Liverpool Gin and the recently launched sister brand Liverpool Vodka on offer over the two day festival. Liverpool Gin is a premium organic gin made using only pure certified organic botanicals, producing a highly distinctive, aromatic drink.

Liverpool Vodka at 43% ABV, is a higher strength small batch potato vodka with a deliciously sweet creamy taste, handcrafted in a copper pot still. The weekend will be a great opportunity to sample both of these locally produced spirits.

Be At One cocktail bar will also be on hand to serve up classic cocktails and create a party atmosphere but if beer is more your thing then The Langwith Brewing Company will be right up your street, with  limited edition beer from casks, bottles and cans. All their beers are unfined and therefore only use completely natural ingredients. Wine lovers will also be well catered for with Beronia, Beaujolais Wine and Pieroth all in attendance.

Fancy something sweet? Head over to Treaty Pie or try Rubis Chocolate Wine. There’s also Coco Baroque – an Artisan Bakery and Chocolatiers with a focus on creating rustically simple cakes and excellent fresh truffles as well as lots of other tasty things to eat. For those wanting a healthier option there will be Simply Strawberries delivering quintessentially British Fayre. Class 1 British Strawberries with lashings of fresh cream? Yes please.
