Arguably, the band that invented the genre “folk rock”, and possibly one of the most hard working bands in musical history, are back on the road. This is the band that created the seminal folk rock album “Leif and Liege” as well as the classic tracks “Who Knows Where The Time Goes”, “Time Will Show The Wiser” “Matt Groves” and “Meet on the Ledge”.
Hot on the heels of their “Winter Tour 2017” we have the “Fairport Spring Tour 2018”, twenty-seven nationwide dates that precludes a short European Tour. They appear at New Brighton Pavilion on the 10th June, and in conjunction with the band, Liverpool Noise can offer two tickets for the gig in return for answering one simple question:
Can you name the first female singer of Fairport Convention? Send your answers to us here at Liverpool Noise via the contact page. The winning entry will be contacted by Sunday 3rd June.
Tickets available from the link here.
