After a successful opening weekend, Capstan’s Bazaar have returned with a monthly Makers Market in Liverpool’s newest venue.
Capstan’s Bazaar is back, popping up for its fifth year, and now at Independent Liverpool’s fantastic Baltic Market. A huge range of intriguing arts and craft stalls will be setting up shop, offering bespoke and handcrafted goods – representing the cream of Liverpool’s artists and artisans.
Expect over 20 stalls, selling everything from prints to postcards, t-shirts to tea cosies and upcycled china to hand-nurtured cacti! This month, the market will be welcoming makers including:
- Junkbox Couture, who will be selling lovely upcycled clothing and uniquely designed t-shirts and tops, as well as a range of fantastic bespoke jewellery.
- Pennington’s Vinyl Emporium, bringing down a huge selection of new and vintage vinyl records. Expect an impressive mix of genres and styles, and some hidden gems for even the most ardent of collectors.
- Jazz Stan Artworks, with her unique and colourful illustrations. One of Jazz’s large-scale murals can be seen gracing the inside of the Baltic Market itself!
The market will be taking place on the first Sunday of every month and will be open between 11am and 4pm. The Baltic Market will be providing its usual assortment of street food and will be serving locally sourced craft beers and wines.
Independent Liverpool have taken the local scene by storm and their new venue, The Baltic Market, has only added to their success. They have created an environment in which the local artisan can sell their wares and have provided a platform for communal creativity. The refreshing and friendly atmosphere means that this is a huge leap in the right direction both for the area and for the local people. Be sure to go along and see what you can find.
