All Day Music Event At The Jacaranda In Aid of MIND; 10th December

The Pentatonic & Liverpool Noise Team Up For All Day Music Event At The Jacaranda.

Liverpool music promoters The Pentatonic & ourselves here at Liverpool Noise have teamed up to host an all day music event at The Jacaranda in aid of the mental health charity Mind.

The event will feature some of the city’s most exciting up and coming bands as well as a special set from Manchester band Man Made.

Man Made released their debut album ‘TV Broke My Brain’ back in April and have been causing a stir after performing at Reading & Leeds and Latitude festival.

Forgive us, but it is difficult to avoid mentioning that Nile Marr on vocals is the son of The Smith’s guitarist Johnny Marr. However, Nile has proved that he can hold his own up on stage, with anthemic songs which mix a variety of genres. There’s post punk sounds next to rock-pop tracks that channel the gloom and frustrations of our times. Stream Man Made’s debut album on Spotify here.

The day will also play host to psych rock instrumentalists The Floormen, hot off the back of their main support role for Strange Collective at the closing party of Liverpool Music Week. L U M E N will bring his captivating solo set to life after a year of high praise and a recent support slot for the excellent Clean Cut Kid.

Mad Alice, recently signed to Ragazza Sola Records, always bring a rocking show and flawless performance. Singer Caitlin Hare’s powerful vocals will have the crowd hanging on every word.

There’s plenty of young, fresh talent in the shape of Spinn, Forever In Debt , The Isrights and Ladies. Spinn are creating plenty of excitement after their track ‘Green Eyes’ was played on BBC Radio Merseyside. Making effortlessly cool pop, the future looks good for the 18 year olds.

Newcomers Forever In Debt play hard and heavy grunge rock that you can’t often find in Liverpool and their sound will shake up the Jacaranda. Three piece Ladies will mix the sound up nicely with their jangly pop tracks. Their residency at Lennon’s bar is always packed, they sure know how to draw a crowd in.

The Isrights are garnering a lot of attention right now as their sound is so varied there’s all kinds of influences to listen out for in their catchy songs. Following the recent release of new single ‘Real?’ and a support slot for Tea Street band, The Isrights are on top form.

Mary Miller is one of the most exciting acts for us as she brings her ‘Triphop Dreampop’ to the Jacaranda. After supporting Let’s Eat Grandma at Liverpool Music Week we knew we had to get her on our line up. Electronica mixed with hip-hop, pop and more. The result? Listen to Mary’s track ‘Angling’ above.

The Blurred Sun Band will be on hand to take you on a trippy adventure back in time. Their laid back tunes will provide the audience a chance to catch their breaths on this manic day of live music.

There’s also one last trick up our sleeves. We have special guest headliners who will blow the crowd away – that’s all we can say for now! Keep checking the facebook event page here for announcements!

The Pentatonic & Liverpool Noise Presents; At The Jacaranda – Saturday 10th December. 4pm – Late.
